During the Rings of Intention Class, each student will come up with a word of intention; a word that embodies what each student wants to cultivate, nourish and focus on in life. The word of intention will be incorporated into a silver band ring that students will learn to create from start to finish. Everyone will leave class with a wearable, handmade reminder of their intention.

Make your very own wearable piece of sterling silver jewelry that has your mantra stamped into it! A Mantra is an encouraging phrase or word to be repeated to increase focus and to uplift you. In this jewelry making class, you will learn to saw, texture, stamp, form and polish metal to make a personalized, finished cuff bracelet.

Registration closes the Saturday before the class. The material fee is included in the class price. No experience is necessary. Must be at least 13 years old to participate.

Jan 22nd - Feb 26th,6 weeks, Sundays, 2-3:30 pm, $375

Come learn how to work with metal! This class is for 14-17 year olds. Students will learn a wide variety of foundational techniques by trying their hands at everything from soldering and riveting to sawing and stamping. They will create their own necklace with personalized handmade charms to be treasured and even added to for years to come.

Join us for this in-depth 6-week jewelry making class. While making class projects, students will learn the fundamentals of working with metal, designing pieces, developing skills, and beginning to hone in on their own artistic voice. Students will make a silver pierced ring and a versatile stone setting for found object and irregular stone. Techniques that will be taught include sawing, drilling, filing, forming, soldering, texturing, and more.

No experience is required. Registration closes Saturday, January 14th. Basic materials will be provided for the projects. There may be an additional materials fee depending on the student’s individual project design and will be discussed during class.

During this process, you will also learn how to pierce and cut metal and make cold connections and earring wires to create your own unique designs.

Get your hands making and your creativity flowing in this in-depth 8-week jewelry making class!

8-week class, Thursdays 6-8:30 pm
September 15 - November 3, 2022

While making class projects, students will learn the fundamentals of working with metal and designing pieces to develop skills and begin to hone in on their own artistic voice. The projects will cover a frame stone setting and a hinged bracelet with a clasp. Techniques that will be taught include sawing, drilling, filing, forming, soldering, texturing, finishing and more. No experience is necessary. Registration closes Saturday, Sept. 10th.

4-week class, Wednesdays 6-8:30 pm
August 31 - September 21, 2022

Learn how to use the dry powder coating process to add a colorful finish to your metal pieces. You will design and create a multi-layered landscape pendant using sheet metal. During this process, you will also learn to saw shapes, create stencils to apply powder in specific areas to create a unique design and then rivet the layers together to create depth.
