Learn how to carve a ring band and a sculptural ring out of wax in this 4 session class. Heidi will teach students the fundamentals of wax carving, the subtractive and additive techniques, sizing and preparing wax models for casting. Heidi will send the wax models to the caster, have them cast into silver and then walk students step by step through the cleaning process from removing the sprue to a polished finish.

Play with metal and color!

Powder Coating is a fun way to add color to your jewelry pieces by using a dry powder coating process as a metal finish. You will design and create two pairs of earrings using wire and sheet metal. During this process, you will also learn how to score and bend wire, pierce and cut metal, use layers and cold connections to create your own unique designs.

Gabriela was born and raised in Mexico City, where she later attended the School of Architecture for several years. She then moved to Texas and earned her Bachelor's in Fine Arts in Metals and Jewelry at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). Heidi has taught Abundance for Creatives at...

During the Rings of Intention Class, we will take time to connect inward and students will learn to make their own silver rings. Each student will come up with a word of intention, a word that embodies what each student wants to attract, cultivate, nourish and focus on in life. The word of intention will be incorporated into a silver band ring that we will create from start to finish. Everyone will leave class with a wearable, handmade reminder of their intention.

Sip and Shop, the largest creative Holiday shopping experience, is back for its 7th year in Dewey Beach! The Developing Artist Collaboration presents this holiday pop-up market of over 30 local artists exhibiting their art and handmade goods. There will be live music, a DIY area to create your own gifts, and complimentary beer (and hot cocoa for the kids).
