Wax Carved Rings Class

Learn how to carve a ring band and a sculptural ring out of wax in this 4 session class. Heidi will teach students the fundamentals of wax carving, the subtractive and additive techniques, sizing and preparing wax models for casting. Heidi will send the wax models to the caster, have them cast into silver and then walk students step by step through the cleaning process from removing the sprue to a polished finish.
